Scottish Romance, Fantasy and Historical Fiction

Anabel MacKenzie's Guide to Scottish Romance and Historical Fiction

I was never really into romances until I met Jamie and Claire from Diana Gabaldon's book, "Outlander." Although most of the books on this list aren't quite as well-written and original as Ms. Gabaldon's series (IMO), they are all good for a quick fix of Scottish romance. I'm always looking for more Scottish romance novels to feed my addiction. I buy several books each month. However, being of Scottish descent, I really love a bargain. I like to borrow books from my local library which also holds a semi-annual used book sale (many of the books donated for the sale are paperback romances). Half.com (Ebay's site) and Amazon.com sell used books from third party sellers, and you can usually find a copy in good condition at a bargain price. By the way, if anyone knows of any great "non-cheesy" Scottish romance novels that aren't on this list, please let me know: anabel@scottishromance.com

Enjoy!
